Born in Montreal in 1978, Isabelle Gaudet-Labine is the author of three books of poetry: Mue (La Peuplade, 2011), Entre l’acier et la chair (Le Noroît, 2009) and Des ombres en formes d’oiseaux (Le Noroît, 2005). Her poems have been published in Estuaire, Moebius, Exit and L’Oiseau-Tigre magazines. A regular contributor to the art magazine Le Sabord, she also edited an issue of Moebius on martial arts. In 2012, she became a board member of the Maison de la poésie and of Moebius. She works for the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en culture (Quebec’s Council of Human Resources in Culture) as professional development coordinator.
